U.S. Bank partnered Plastic Jungle secured gift card exchange, allowing FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature cardholders to exchange select merchants’ gift cards for highly valued FlexPoints, reward points that can be redeemed for travel, merchandise and more. U.S. Bank and Plastic Jungle pioneered this concept of offering credit card rewards in exchange for gift cards. FlexPerks Travel Rewards cardholders can visit the FlexPerks Visa Promotion Center to exchange their gift cards for FlexPoints. Cardholders simply enter the details of the card, such as the merchant, gift card number and card value. Plastic Jungle determines the value of the cardholder’s gift card, which then is translated into a FlexPoints value.

They will allow consumers to pay by mobile phone when SEQR becomes part of Extenda’s standard system, and in this way circumvent card issuers’ high charges. Diebold Inks UniCredit Bank Hungary

UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. selected Diebold as its exclusive ATM provider to set-up the new ATMs, allowing it to be the first financial institution in Hungary offering automated deposit services. A successful pilot of envelope-free transactions that authenticated and validated deposit of banknotes in real-time on approximately 10 Diebold Opteva ATMs was completed in early 2011. These ATMs were equipped with Diebold’s Agilis multi-vendor software application and enhanced banknote acceptor (ENA).
