MoneyGram announced that PayPal’s 55 million active U.S. account holders can now initiate a withdrawal from their accounts – online or via mobile – and pick up the funds at any MoneyGram location in the United States. Later this month, PayPal customers will also be able to load money into their accounts at select MoneyGram locations in Dallas, New York and San Francisco, with additional locations scheduled to be rolled out during 2013. MoneyGram signed an agreement with Fuzhou Rural Commercial Bank (Fuzhou RCB). Based in Fuzhou, one of the largest cities in the Fujian province of China, the agreement enables convenient money transfer service access for both urban and rural Fuzhou residents, and Chinese expatriates sending funds back home to family in Fuzhou. Money transfer services are now available at all Fuzhou RCB locations. China is the second largest receive country in the world with an estimated $60 billion of money transfer receives, according to The World Bank.
