Nearly 19% of men feel they have to buy their sweetheart something to say “Be Mine” this Valentine’s Day, compared to only 7% of women. Women use Valentine’s Day to reach out to a wider circle of friends and family with a growing list of gift recipients that goes beyond significant others to include parents (65%), grandparents (13%), siblings (54%) and even friends (58%) and colleagues (13%). This, according to the second annual MasterCard Canada Valentine’s Day Survey, also showed 7% of Canadians admit to receiving practical items such as furniture, tools and appliances while 19% received toys, gag gifts, funny clothing or novelty items. The most popular Valentine’s Day presents include giving cards (36%), romantic dinners (32%) and candy / chocolate (30%).

Affiliated Computer Services Acquired by Xerox

Business processing outsourcer Affiliated Computer Services has been
acquired by Xerox. ACS will initially be branded ACS, A Xerox Company.
It will continue to be led by Lynn Blodgett, who has been elected by the
Xerox Board of
Directors as an executive vice president of the corporation. Blodgett

NEC Display Solutions Adds New LCD Display to its P Series

the addition of a new size to its P Series, the 70-inch P701
LCD display for digital signage. Along with
providing full connectivity, including DisplayPort for maximum

P701 touts more than 30 built-in features in its Enhanced Digital
Signage Technology Suite. Among these are TileMatrix™, which enables

Board of Directors has resolved to issue up to 9,833,333 new shares in
the Rights Offering at a subscription price of NOK 4.80 per share.
As announced on February 2, 2010, a guarantee consortium has been
established consisting of existing larger shareholders that shall on
certain conditions subscribe for new shares in the Rights Offering in
the total aggregate amount of NOK 47,200,000 of the new shares not being
subscribed for by others, according to their relative part of the total
guaranteed amount. The guarantors may deduct from their guarantee
liability shares subscribed for by them (including their 100% owned

NCR Reports 5% Y/Y 4Q/09 Revenue Loss

NCR Reported revenue of $1.35 billion decreased 5% from the fourth
quarter of 2008. Also reported was a fourth-quarter loss from continuing
operations (attributable to NCR) of $56 million, or $0.35 per diluted
compared to income from continuing operations (attributable to NCR) of
$55 million in the fourth quarter of 2008. Income from continuing
operations in the fourth quarter of 2009 included a $151 million ($97
million after-tax) net charge, or $0.60 per diluted share, related to
the Fox
River environmental matter, a $24 million ($15
million after-tax), or $0.09 per diluted share, impairment charge
related to an equity investment and related assets, and $6 million ($4
million after-tax), or $0.03 per diluted share of incremental costs

Germany have signed an agreement for TSYS to provide B+S Card Service
with back-office merchant acceptance services across Europe. B+S Card Service is one of Europe’s leading acquirers and providers of
card payment solutions having developed a presence in 12 European
countries, and has been helping its merchant clients transact payments
for more than 20 years. TSYS’ TS PrimeSM platform will be utilised,
offering B+S Card Service a fully flexible, scaleable and enhanced
cross-border merchant acquiring capability. The conversion is planned for Q1 2011 and will be supported from TSYS’
