Capital One has completed the acquisition of the Hudson’s Bay Company credit card portfolio and related assets from GE Capital Retail Finance, first announced on November 9. With this, Capital One Canada nearly triples its customer accounts serviced. The acquired portfolio includes outstanding receivables of approximately $1.3 billion, and the transfer of approximately 400 employees directly involved in servicing the Hudson’s Bay Company’s financial services business from the previous issuer to Capital One.

CrossView cross-channel commerce solutions has added its “Mobile Commerce Store” and “Mobile Point of Sale” mobile solutions to its offerings, both of which it is set to demonstrate at the National Retailing Federation’s 100th Annual Convention & Expo 2011 in New York City. Dubai Bank Implements SmartStream Reconciliation

Dubai Bank has implemented SmartStream’s financial Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) “Corona” to deliver more efficient nostro and central bank account reconciliations. The “TLM Corona” platform was selected to implement the Cash and Investigations as the first modules of its new reconciliations factory, which will eventually act as a single transaction processing platform across the bank’s business. The solution is currently processing nostro and central bank transactions, with plans in place to introduce the new reconciliation types over the next 12 months.
