The Logic Group partnered PayPal online payment company, allowing shoppers to buy online without sharing their financial information with merchants. The PayPal integrated service offers end users choice and flexibility when it comes to selecting a payment method; transactions can still be completed by debit or credit card, or through PayPal, funded directly via their bank account or existing PayPal balance. The Logic Group can also provide fully customisable, and scalable, Pay Pages for merchants, and manage sensitive data allowing all to benefit from PCI DSS compliance, Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode functionality and reduced associated costs.

American Express, VEVO and YouTube announced Coldplay will be the latest performer in its “American Express Unstaged” livestream music series. A new remittance corridor has been launched connecting Morocco to Belgium as part of an initiative by Wafacash – a subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank Group – and MFS provider BICS, a part of the Belgacom Group. Now people living in Belgium will be able to use their mobile phones to remit money instantly and cost effectively to their relatives and friends anywhere in Morocco, where they can collect the money at one of the 500 agent locations of Wafacash. The remittance transactions to the agents are facilitated through the HomeSend remittance hub, and as well as the Allo Cash platform.

Loomis Inks cash handling agreement with BAB Bankernas Automatbolag

Loomis inked a four-year agreement with BAB Bankernas Automatbolag to provide approximately 50% of Automatbolag’s ATMs with cash. Also included in Loomis’ assignment is the counting of cash and certain emergency servicing of the machines. BAB Bankernas Automatbolag was founded in September 2010 by Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank, and is taking over the management of the owner banks’ approximately 2,700 withdrawal and deposit ATMs.

Alliance Data Inks Pier 1 Imports to Private-Label Card Agreement

Pier 1 Imports has signed a new, long-term private-label credit card agreement with Alliance Data loyalty and marketing solutions. With this, Alliance Data will provide end-to-end private-label credit card services from account acquisition to multichannel marketing and customer service for Pier 1 Imports and is underway as the current private-label credit card program remains in place until full conversion by 2Q/12. Alliance Data expects the program portfolio to be in the $120 million range by the end of 2012.
