Infor Selects GXS’s Cloud-Based Tokenization

GXS announced Infor business app software is integrating GXS’s cloud-based Tokenization Service into their Infor10 Expense Management SaaS solution. The GXS Tokenization service will enable the secure exchange of credit card information and comply with PCI DSS and accepts transactions from credit card issuers and replaces information such as the card number and expiration date with a secure “token” before sending the data to Infor. Infor10 Expense Management SaaS is a software-as-a-service that helps companies manage the costs and compliance in employee spending, with modules for expense reports, payment requests, travel plans and time sheets. By integrating with GXS’s cloud-based service, Infor can provide a PCI-compliant service while reducing the need for complex changes to their internal systems and minimizing the scope of PCI compliance audits.

LCH.Clearnet Group Ltd (LCH.Clearnet) has appointed Lisa Rosen as Group Head of Compliance and Public Affairs. Previously, Lisa was Managing Director, Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at Barclays Capital in London. Here she will oversee LCH.Clearnet’s regulatory and lobbying activities. Turkish Postal Service Implements Wincor Nixdorf ATMs

The Turkish postal service (PTT) has commissioned Wincor Nixdorf to install 600 multifunctional ATMs beginning in March 2012 through the end of August. With this, PTT has also been allowing third-party customers to withdraw cash from its ATMs via debit and credit card. The bank’s aim is to offer customers as many services as possible on the ATM, which is why the systems are equipped with modules for depositing bank notes and checks (CCDM). The Wincor Nixdorf “ProCash 2150” systems include both anti-skimming and anti-cash trapping solutions that identify and effectively prevent manipulation.

Central Bank of Nigeria Deploys Ingenico POS

Central Bank of Nigeria seeking to reduce the amount of cash used in transactions is announcing an aggressive rollout of Ingenico POS terminals across the country. This is among the 14,000 Ingenico terminals purchased by the banks, including Guaranty Trust Bank (GT Bank), Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) First Bank, First City monument Bank (FCMB) Oceanic Bank, Unity Bank, for deployment in 2012. Ingenico is providing an end to end solution combining a wireless terminal with GPRS connectivity, the iWL220, and a remote Terminal Management Services (TMS) solution. The solution fully complies with security regulation and the payment application accepts all card schemes.

Barnes chip personalisation test module Visa-Compliant

Barnes International updated its personalisation test module that complies with the latest Visa Global Personalization Requirements (GPR). The new module complements Barnes’ existing tests for Visa Specifications incorporated in its Card Personalisation Validation Tools (CPT 3000v3 and CAT 3000v3). The test tools offer comprehensive evaluation of a chip product to ensure it will meet industry and payment scheme certification standards, to significantly reduce a product’s time to market as the chip is aligned to Visa Specifications throughout the development lifecycle and before applying for official Visa approval. The GPR module is now available to existing and new users of the CPT 3000v3 and CAT 3000v3 test tools to allow them to pre-validate cards prior to certification by Visa.
