NCR Corporation appointed Sameer Sandhir head of NCR Services Sales for its Emerging Markets group. In this role he will manage operations in India, China and Middle East and Africa (ICMEA). With this, he will oversee developing and executing the sales strategy to help expand its NCR Services footprint in these dynamic markets. With more than 22 years’ experience in industries surrounding services, technology and telecommunications, samir worked with various multinationals like Fujitsu, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Alcatel-Lucent.

BluePay Launches QuickBooks POS Plug-in

BluePay offers a new QuickBooks Point of Sale plugin for seamless accounting software integration. Now, in addition to integrating with any workstation running QuickBooks accounting software, BluePay’s secure credit card processing gateway integrates with QuickBooks point of sale (POS) systems. Once the plugin is installed, the merchant can scan items through their QuickBooks Point of Sale, swipe the customer’s credit card or manually enter credit card data, and send the transaction right to BluePay. When the transaction is approved, it is transferred right into the merchant’s accounting software, eliminating double data entry and keying errors.

Payvment Hits One Million Monthly Active Shoppers

Payvment, the number one Facebook e-commerce platform, announced that the company reached one million monthly active shoppers in December 2011, and saw a 3X year-over-year increase in transactions by its network of over 100,000 sellers during 2011. This is the second Crimson Tide National Championship Fan Pack offered by Regions.
