Banqit Implements Wincor Nixdorf Banknote Storage

Cash solution provider Banqit AB will in the future use the Cineo banknote storage technology from Wincor Nixdorf in its Q-CashRouter, as a complement to its own cash recycling technology. This makes the company the second alongside Giesecke & Devrient to use the intelligent cassettes and the Cash Cycle Management Solution concept from Wincor Nixdorf. Cassettes from Wincor Nixdorf´s CINEO system generation can already be exchanged between ATMs, cash recycling systems, automated teller safes and retail systems. The integration of these cassette technology in a processing system for cash centers has been presented by technology provider Giesecke & Devrient in January 2011.

Datacard Partners, Expands Instant Debit Card Issuance

Datacard Group secure ID and card personalization solutions announced that Associated Bank has selected Datacard “CardWizard” issuance software for its instant issue debit card program. Headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., Associated Bank has approximately 270 branch locations throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. Fifth Third Bank Standardizes March Networks Financial

Fifth Third Bancorp has initiated an upgrade program of its existing March Networks’ video surveillance systems across more than 1,300 full-service retail banking branches, data centers, corporate offices, and operations and cash handling facilities. One of the top 15 banks in the U.S., Fifth Third Bank has already started deploying 12,000 new March Networks IP and analog cameras, and will upgrade to new 4332 C Hybrid Network Video Recorders (NVRs) nationwide. The bank is also piloting the March Networks Searchlight portfolio of intelligent data analytics to proactively detect and reduce losses from fraud at ATMs and teller lines. Fifth Third Bank will upgrade to the 4332 C Hybrid NVR, which will double its existing IP camera support and expand evidence storage. It is also deploying a mixture of March Networks MegaPX WDR MiniDome IP cameras and WDR Indoor Dome cameras throughout its retail bank and critical infrastructure facilities.

U.S. Bank Implements Secure Vault Payments for Child Support

U.S. Bank announced the successful implementation of Secure Vault Payments (SVP) with the Nebraska Child Support Payment Center for online child support payments. Non-custodial parents can now choose Secure Vault Payments (SVP) to make their child support payments from a consumer online bank account at U.S. Bank or at any SVP-enabled financial institution. With Secure Vault Payments, a non-custodial parent initiates the payment at the Child Support Center’s website. The parent is automatically redirected to his or her bank’s online banking platform to select the account to use for payment. The participating financial institution authenticates the payer and immediately withdraws funds from the payer’s account and then transfers funds to the Child Support Center the next business day.
