Regions Bank Offers 2011 Crimson Tide Fan Pack

The 2011 Crimson Tide National Championship Fan Pack is available exclusively through Regions Bank and features a CheckCard and checks emblazoned in crimson and white with the official 2011 National Champions logo. This is the second Crimson Tide National Championship Fan Pack offered by Regions. In 2010 the bank introduced the University of Alabama 2009 National Championship CheckCard and checks, which were available exclusively to Regions Bank customers for a limited time. The 2011 Crimson Tide National Championship CheckCards and checks will be available beginning January 10 and can be used with all Regions Bank consumer checking accounts. Customers can order the branded CheckCard, checks, or both.

Starmount Enhances mSelling Assistant Solution

Starmount announced its “Engage 2.1” update to its mobile selling assistant solution. The “Engage” solution enables associates to deliver richer customer interaction and service ” from point-of-interest to point-of-sale ” by bringing the POS system to the buyer and offering customer engagement functions. Retailers can now fully process returns with “Engage” on mobile devices, which can be used internationally, and includes configuration options to accommodate different languages, currencies, taxation and tender options. SQuid integrates Frog online learning platform

Mobidia Expands Through Mobile Operator Partnership

Mobidia Technology announced a number of active projects with mobile operators, including its launch of the Android and IPhone version of their “My Data Manager” application. Mobidia is currently collaborating with 4 operators to extend and customize My Data Manager to make differentiated solutions that enable unique subscriber experiences around mobile data. This includes a Tier 1, European operator developing a customer care application that is tailor made for them to minimize “bill shock” issues with mobile data; a Tier 1, US operator pilot of a customized version of My Data Manager to use as a platform for promoting, upselling, and cross-selling mobile data plans and services to their subscribers; a Tier 1, European operator utilizing My Data Manager’s unique analytics capabilities to clearly understand what apps and services are valued and used on WiFi, mobile, and roaming networks by their subscribers; and a large Asian operator, which is part of a 300M subscriber operator partnership, extending My Data Manager to address bill shock issues when subscribers use mobile data while roaming.

Wincor Nixdorf Partners, Expands Network

EDB ErgoGroup SYSteam has signed a contract with Wincor Nixdorf to supply ATM services. The five-year agreement covers IMAC (Installation, Move, Add and Change) services and ProductRelated Services for 1,400 systems. Wincor Nixdorf’s Nordic service organization offers services seven days a week, 365 days a year, providing excellence in system availability and end-user experience. The agreement includes second line maintenance for 1,400 systems. In addition, Wincor Nixdorf will provide IMAC services for EDB ErgoGroup SYSteam.
